Mystery of Sino-Taiwan Dispute

 The Birth of Taiwan

When the world was busy fighting World War II in China Civil War was taking place. It was between two groups of people. One believes in Socialism under the leadership of Mo Yan and the other beliefs in capitalism under the guidance of Chiang Kai Sheik. 

Knowing this and taking advantage, Japan attacked China. Seeing this the leaders of the two parties jointly fought against Japanese forces. With the end of Japanese invasions and its withdrawal from the war, the 2 leaders again started the civil war. The civil war resulted in the defeat of Chiang Kai Sheik who then fled to Taiwan and this led to the birth of their dispute over each other. 

The Dispute

The dispute between the two countries is that both countries want to acquire others lands. Yes, Taiwan also says on International Platforms that they will acquire whole of the China.

The reason behind American Interference

America wants to save Taiwan due to several reasons:

• Taiwan is a hub for companies of electronics because it has more than 60% of the contribution silicon in the whole world. If China gets control over this area, she will get control over the market of Silicon. She can stop the production of Silicon to raise the price of electronic devices, affect the IT sector companies of the USA and drain its economy. So the USA never leaves Taiwan alone.
• Also Taiwan is a strategic location to counter China as it is very close to it.

If unconditional war happens between China and Taiwan the world will support Taiwan and there are chances that Taiwan will win. To further study let's take a look at the strength of the armies of both countries.
