The Reason

The real reason to launch the Apollo 11 mission was a war known as the cold war between Russia and U.S.A. Soviet Union had became the first country to launch an artificial satellite to space Sputnik 1 in 1957.

To balance U.S.A launched its own satellite named 'Explorer' in 1958 but 3 years later Soviet cosmonaut Yuri Gagarin became the first person to went up in space in 1961.
To this respond the president of America, John F. Kennedy wrote a letter to the Vice President that how can they make Soviet to lose the space war going on. He also said that can they do the space program that can happen quick.
They realized that they can take the man to moon and take him down in his speeches.

The Coarse

The test was going upon but the testing took place and after 10 repeated in Apollo 11 mission NASA gained success. There were three astronauts:

  • Neil Armstrong: Commander ( 38 years )
  • Michael Collins: Module Pilot
  • Edwin Buzz Aldrin: Lunar Module's Pilot

The coarse is not the big topic but the topic is why some people not believe in this.

The Reason behind its faith

The reason that some people don't believe in its trueness is as follows:
  • Americans might have done it to win the space war going on in the space. However, repeated time Soviet government had acknowledge it as the 3rd Historical event in the history.
  • The second is why the American Flag is floating horizontally. The answer is that the all flags usually have a vertical rod but the flag that was taken to the lunar surface had two horizontally perpendicular to each other so that it appear floating.
  • The third reason for this belief against the lunar landing is that why there are aren't any stars in the sky. The reason is that the landing took place at the time of day.
  • The forth question is that why the shadows were inconsistent. They argue that because this was a film making so there was no single source of light in the videos and photos. The answer is that the sun was not the only source of light in the moon. The lunar surface also acts as the reflecting surface for the light and making the shadow.
  • The last argument is that why not more peoples went up in the space. So the answer is its heavy cost. The cost was $ 24 billion which when adjusted by inflation is equal to $ 100 billion.
                                  •
Despite of these criticism there were many questions raised on the government as the New York Times published that the amount of money that is wasted in the Lunar Mission can be used to make 100s of the Universities that are equal to the side of Harvard.
